The course is divided into 3 years and provides for the achievement of 180 ECTF, of which 60 to be acquired in professional training activities (internship). Further learning activities are foreseen such as professional workshops, seminars and activities chosen by the student (ADE elective teaching activities). The study plan includes 20 final exams and/or assessments, organized as integrated exam tests for several courses or coordinated modules. Attendance is mandatory
The disciplinary sectors range from Biomedical Sciences to General, clinical and paediatric Nursing Sciences, from Psycho-Social and Humanistic Sciences to Legal and Sociological Ethical Sciences, from Computer Science and Digital Technologies to Linguistics. Align theoretical knowledge with nursing practice through critical thinking skills, clinical reasoning, diagnostic judgment, problem solving, along with empathy, helping relationship, teamwork.
Students participate in an admission competition and take an admission test prepared on the basis of ministerial indications. The admission requirements are listed in the call for admission (June/July). After the publication of the final ranking, those admitted can enroll by paying the first installment of fees

Course description
The Degree Course in Nursing is part of the degree courses of the health professions with the objective of training operators who, with professional autonomy, carry out activities aimed at the prevention of diseases, the assistance of sick people and people with disabilities of all ages and at health education, according to the relevant professional profile, as well as the specific code of ethics. The nurse is responsible for nursing care i.e. diagnosis and treatment of human responses to health conditions/life processes, or susceptibility to such responses, by an individual, caregiver, family, group or community.
To be admitted to the Nursing degree course, students must have a secondary school diploma or other recognized qualification obtained abroad, in accordance with current regulations. Enrollment is subject to passing an admission test since access to the course of study is programmed at national level.
The Degree in Nursing aims at training health professionals who are responsible for the attributions provided for by the D.M. of Health 14 September 1994, n. 739 and of the Law of 26 February 1999, n. 42 and subsequent amendments: Registered Nurse, responsible for general nursing care in the preventive, curative, palliative and rehabilitative fields.
The degree obtained at the end of the studies qualifies for the profession of Registered Nurse and allows the Doctor of Nursing – subject to enrollment in the Professional Register – to carry out the activity in public or private healthcare facilities, both in dependency and free-lance regimen.
Fees, contributions and exemptions
Costs based on family income (ISEE-University) and including:
- fee for equal access to university studies (from 130€ to 160€);
- annual amount (from 0 (if ISEE-University <= € 22,000) to € 2,000);
Flat tax = €1,000 for international students (UE and non UE)
With a family income (ISEE-University < € 26,000) students are entitled to receive:
- Scholarship consisting of total exemption from taxes, cash share, canteen and accommodation service (for off-site students)
- Grants for international mobility
- Reduced rates for the use of sports facilities and cultural services
- Benefits for students completing their degrees within prescribed time
Exclusively on grounds of merit, students can obtain:
- International mobility grants (Erasmus)
- Free accommodation and canteen services published in the call DUnicAL career program for student-athletes.
