L31 Computer Science and Technology
Course description
The program trains experts in digital technologies with an ability to problem-solving and knowledge in the field of computational science, able to create and manage complex computer systems. The teaching activities allow to acquire knowledge of the principles, structure and use of computing systems, as well as techniques and methods for the design and implementation of software and computer networks. The course allows to specialize in artificial intelligence and in advanced applications for business contexts.
Students with a secondary school diploma (5-year course) and students with another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable. Ideal candidates are students with an interest in computer science, mathematics, and information engineering disciplines. No prior computer skills are required
The course trains experts in digital technologies and problem-solving, with good knowledge of computational science and computer systems, able to use mathematical models of scientific, technological and business interest and to carry out activities for development and management of advanced software systems and computer networks.
The program trains experts in information science and technology. The main professional opportunities are in contexts where programming and development and management skills are needed for software applications, web/mobile applications, network management, video games and artificial intelligence systems
Fees, contributions and exemptions
Costs calculated based on family income (ISEE-University) and including:
- fee for the equal access to university studies (from 130€ to 160€);
- annual amount (from 0 (if ISEE-University <= € 22,000) to € 2,000);
Flat tax = €1,000 for international students (UE and non UE)
With a family income (ISEE-University < € 26,000) students are entitled to receive:
- Scholarship consisting of total exemption from taxes, cash share, canteen and accommodation service (for off-site students)
- Grants for international mobility
- Reduced rates for the use of sports facilities and cultural services
- Benefits for students completing their degrees within regulation time
Exclusively on grounds of merit, students can obtain:
