L07 Civil and Environmental Engineering
Course description
The three-year degree allows undergraduates to access the employment market with the qualification of Junior Civil Engineer. The course of studies allows students to acquire skills in the four areas that characterize Civil Engineering: Geotechnics, Hydraulics, Structures and Transports. The knowledge and skills acquired allow undergraduates to design and execute civil engineering works of medium complexity. The course of studies is completed with the Master Degree in Civil Engineering, which allows undergraduates to acquire advanced knowledge of Civil Engineering and to work as professionals to their full potential.
Students with a secondary school diploma (5-year course) and students with another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable. Ideal candidates are students with an interest in innovation and science, in the planning, design, and management of land-use, infrastructures, and the built environment
Training professionals able to deal with the various aspects of civil engineering, from the design to the execution of works of medium complexity, with an interdisciplinary approach and applying these skills to new works and systems, to the recovery of existing ones, and to the use of traditional and innovative materials.
Design activities of medium complexity in: companies dealing with the construction and maintenance of civil works, plants and infrastructures; professional firms and design companies; bodies dealing with the planning, design and management of public works; as well as in service companies focusing on the study of the impact of infrastructures at urban and territorial level
Fees, contributions and exemptions
Costs calculated based on family income (ISEE-University) and including:
- fee for the equal access to university studies (from 130€ to 160€);
- annual amount (from 0 (if ISEE-University <= € 22,000) to € 2,000);
Flat tax = €1,000 for international students (UE and non UE)
With a family income (ISEE-University < € 26,000) students are entitled to receive:
- Scholarship consisting of total exemption from taxes, cash share, canteen and accommodation service (for off-site students)
- Grants for international mobility
- Reduced rates for the use of sports facilities and cultural services
- Benefits for students completing their degrees within regulation time
Exclusively on grounds of merit, students can obtain:
