LM23 Civil Engineering
Course description
The Master’s Degree Course allows access to the world of work with the qualification of Senior Civil Engineer. The Course offers four educational curricula: Geotechnics, Hydraulics, Structures and Transportation. Some courses are taught in two languages (Italian and English). A new international curriculum that allows the participation of the program in the European Master of Science in Advanced Solid Mechanics (www.master-strains.eu) has also been developed. Civil Engineers have advanced knowledge and can work as freelance professionals at all levels for the development of major works.
Students with a degree in the degree class L-7 Civil and Environmental Engineering (DM 270) or L-8 Civil and Environmental Engineering (DM 509) or any other degree obtained abroad and recognized as suitable, and with a good command of English.
The Master’s Degree is the natural completion of the Bachelor Degree, which allows students to acquire all the necessary skills for the design, construction, maintenance and management of major works in the field of Civil Engineering.
Design, construction, maintenance and management of civil works, urban and transport systems, plants and infrastructures; seismic upgrading of structures; freelance professionals in consulting and design firms, construction companies, public and private entities, managers and authorities of works, networks and services
Fees, contributions and exemptions
Costs calculated based on family income (ISEE-University) and including:
- fee for the equal access to university studies (from 130€ to 160€);
- annual amount (from 0 (if ISEE-University <= € 22,000) to € 2,000);
Flat tax = €1,000 for international students (UE and non UE)
With a family income (ISEE-University < € 26,000) students are entitled to receive:
- Scholarship consisting of total exemption from taxes, cash share, canteen and accommodation service (for off-site students)
- Grants for international mobility
- Reduced rates for the use of sports facilities and cultural services
- Benefits for students completing their degrees within regulation time
Exclusively on grounds of merit, students can obtain:
